Beautiful cottage right above a roaring mountain river. Great white noise with the windows and door open. Easy access to the river for wading, etc. Fire pit, hot tub, sauna and cold plunge right outside the back door. Walls in yard provide great privacy from any neighbors. Cottage is set up comfortably with everything you need - excellent coffee supplied for French press or pour-over. FYI the second bedroom is in the loft open to the living room— beautiful space but no door to close. There is also a spiral staircase up there that would not work for those with mobility issues. The bathroom and laundry are very convenient. There is a forest road just beyond the house for walks or runs. Granite Falls is only 15 min west for grocery and restaurants. Lots of picnic and overlook areas further up the Mountain Loop Road. Many hikes nearby to choose from. We chose to hike to Lake Twenty Two (3 miles up!) and it was completely worth it. All in all, a great space for a respite from the world.
We loved our stay here! End of June was a beautiful time of year to visit. The weather was perfect. We were amazed by the river and amenities here as well as the access to the mountain loop which had access to many trails for hiking. It was the perfect cozy fairytale place to stay. Just watch your head upstairs!!

This was a wonderful space to rest and relax. The cabin was in great condition and the outdoor amenities were fantastic! The hosts were very responsive and made sure we were taken care. All together we had a great experience and would happily stay there again!
