Beautiful cottage right above a roaring mountain river. Great white noise with the windows and door open. Easy access to the river for wading, etc. Fire pit, hot tub, sauna and cold plunge right outside the back door. Walls in yard provide great privacy from any neighbors. Cottage is set up comfortably with everything you need - excellent coffee supplied for French press or pour-over. FYI the second bedroom is in the loft open to the living room— beautiful space but no door to close. There is also a spiral staircase up there that would not work for those with mobility issues. The bathroom and laundry are very convenient. There is a forest road just beyond the house for walks or runs. Granite Falls is only 15 min west for grocery and restaurants. Lots of picnic and overlook areas further up the Mountain Loop Road. Many hikes nearby to choose from. We chose to hike to Lake Twenty Two (3 miles up!) and it was completely worth it. All in all, a great space for a respite from the world.

The most cozy little cabin in the woods close to the river! It has everything you need. River is just a short 2 minute walk from the cabin and there’s a nice beach with a fire pit. The tiny town with one grocery store and one bar is a short drive away. Our host was very friendly and responsive. Highly recommend and we will be back!
