Absolutely quaint little place! nice for a get away for the hustle and bustle of life. My boyfriend and I both agreed it was better than staying at Salish Lodge!

The place was great - really comfy and cozy. Just down the road from the lookout mountain preserve which was nice for early morning walks, easy drive into Bellingham. Communication was good, would stay here again.

It was a lovely stay. The house was very inviting and cozy. The stove added a nice touch to our time spent in the house. As someone who also rents out their home as an AirBnB, I found some concerns I'd like to share: I found it tacky to ask us to wash all the dishes and put it away before leaving. What was the cleaning fee for? Dishes that were put away needed to be re-washed. Obviously the prior guests put away dirty dishes. The towels provided were small. I'm petite and the towel barely fit around me. The icemaker worked once and then stopped. I did speak with the host on Day 2 and while on the phone with him, the icemaker started to work. Then later that evening, it was back to not working. On our last night around 8:30 pm, the WiFi stopped working. I was there for work and could not do any meetings past 8:30 pm. I loved waking up to see the outdoors however, some window treatment on the sliding door in the bedroom could add some warmth to the house as well as privacy.

This place is a gem! We really felt like we were staying at a family cabin, it was so well stocked. The space is exactly as pictured and has everything you could dream of needing or wanting. Plan to cook incredible meals in their gorgeous kitchen and leave feeling well rested.
